Based on the life story of Hannah Goslar.
Hannah Goslar and Anne Frank are best friends. They visit the same school and their families are neighbors living in war-torn Amsterdam. Life for Jewish girls isn’t easy but still bearable in 1942. At least that’s what the girls think. They laugh, they dance, they play games.
Until one morning in July 1942, Anne and her family have disappeared.
Then Hannah’s life takes a turn for the worse. She and her little sister are transported to German concentration camp Bergen Belsen. And there she finds Anne. The girls meet again, a heart-wrenching reunion, separated by a fence. Anne is in a really bad condition and Hannah wants to help her best friend. But what should she do? What can she do?
